Timewarp, Car on Autopilot, and New Friends

Finally, I am able to recall more than one dream, or at least make sense of some others!
_______
Dream 1:
I find myself back at my old elementary school with a class of kids who look like they are eight years old. Everyone appears to be getting ready for a field trip somewhere, and I glance at the release form I have in my hands and it says we'll be going to Spain. [If only I'd really have been so lucky!] Looking around I begin to recognize a few faces. I've been sent to the past! I still look and feel to be 22 years old, but nobody else around seems to notice that. I see one of my friends that I would someday graduate with, it was a very humbling moment. He was looking at some of his artwork, and I saw that it was something that would someday make the cover of the yearbooks!
"It's not very good," he said as he looked up at me. I then realized how many things I could change with the knowledge I possessed, but all I said to him was,
"You better save that for a while," and then we all went out the door.
_________

That one just makes me feel nostalgic, and also makes me want to track down that friend of mine, as I haven't seen him in about four years.
_______
Dream 2:
I was in the back seat of my mom's car, which [only in the dream] has a LCD TV in the dashboard. I was watching the news, and the car was on autopilot, because there was nobody else in the car. The news anchor was making his last statements, and when it was over, the TV turned itself off and also deactivated the autopilot. You see, the car was driven by the news itself. [That's the logic of dreams for you!] Cruise control was still set, and the car was driving down a road that wasn't straight. Luckily we had just driven out of the woods, and towards a field. I unbuclkled my seatbelt to climb over the seats to stop the car right as we blasted into the cornfield! At first I thought the corn would help the car slow down, but then I realized that it would only happen after I de-activate the cruise control! I reached over and turned off the car itself since the keys were easier to reach. We began to slow down while plowing down cornstalks, but I could see that there was a house up ahead so I tried to put on the brakes. As hard as it is to use the brakes on a car that isn't running, I was slowing down at a hopeful rate. Unfortunately, it was not enough. We busted through the wooden fence that separates the yard from the field and got wedged between two of the fenceposts. The car was stopped. Immediately, the owner of the house came storming out firing their shotgun into the sky so I ditched the car and ran off. I wasn't far from home [Note: Like in all my dreams, "home" is always the house I grew up in, not the one I live in now], so I figured I could walk the rest of the way. I was almost to the main road when I saw a fox in the ditch. I stood still as it noticed me and I thought to myself I wish I had my camera right now but then I realized that I DID have it with me! As my camera powered on the fox bolted and almost ran away but then it ran in a semi-circle around me and paused, and I tried to take a picture, but he ran out of the shot too fast. Then he was prancing around like, well, like a fox, and he began to spiral closer to me, until he came right up to me and wanted to be cuddled. He let me take a few pictures of him then.
_________

I'm not sure what the fox means on that one, but the car on cruise control through the cornfield reminds me of a Simpsons episode!

Dream 3:
I was at one of my college apartments [which seems to cross into my home] and someone came by asking for a place to stay for a while. He had travelled all the way from Tennessee, or some other equally undesireable place in the south and seemed to be close to my age. So, honoring my code of hospitality I told him he could stay. It was late already so after getting to know him a little, I went to bed. Part way into the night I woke up and saw that he was asleep lengthwise at the foot of the bed (not where I had put him). Since I was not bothered by this I went back to sleep. In the morning I woke up (at home) and he was already gone, but had left a few of his things strewn about. [I can't remember what his name was and he does not seem to represent anyone from the waking world] I asked my mother if she knew where he went, but all she told me is that if he is going to keep doing this, it would have been a bad move for me to have let him stay.

After what seems like hours I go outside and start asking my peers if they have seen him, and only one of them thought they might have. I invite them inside and when the four of us are in the apartment, the door opened up again and he was back. For some reason I felt relieved that he was all right. He was just out visiting his grandmother at a hospital which is probably what his journey was about. I still didn't catch his name. [I awaken]
_________

I don't know what the deal is with this last one!
